    Sammanfattning : While Indonesia faces countless environmental challenges due to the deforestation and exploitation of nature, the terraced rice landscapes of Bali – known as subak – appear to be not only more protected, but also better preserved than the rest of the country’s greenspaces. It is therefore imperative to ponder upon the question of why this discrepancy may be and, in this case, investigate how subak visitors have been using these areas for outdoor recreational activities and thus contribute to greater environmental awareness. In providing the national electricity, the state electricity company (PLN) is still deriving more than 70% of its energy sources from coal and oil As per 2018, only up to 8% of on-grid power is generated from renewable energy sources, and this percentage has decreased by half between 2010 and 2018.     Sammanfattning : This thesis studies the use of GIS applications to derive adjustment figures for the terrain factor in property valuation tasks. It aims at suggesting a quantitative approach alternative to evaluate the terrain factor as opposed to traditional methods and current industry practices where terrain is qualitatively judged based on visual observation at site and subjected to individual opinion.
