2. Simulation of flooding and flood mitigation in the town of Söderköping using HEC-RAS : An investigation of floods and mitigation measures
Master-uppsats, KTH/Hållbar utveckling, miljövetenskap och teknikSammanfattning : This study examines the effects of flood management systems in an HEC-RAS simulation of recorded discharge in the town of Söderköping in Sweden by using easy-to-access and publicly available hydrological, landcover, and soil data. Two rivers and the precipitation of a chosen area are studied. LÄS MER
3. A Comparative Analysis of Whisper and VoxRex on Swedish Speech Data
Kandidat-uppsats, Uppsala universitet/Statistiska institutionenSammanfattning : With the constant development of more advanced speech recognition models, the need to determine which models are better in specific areas and for specific purposes becomes increasingly crucial. Even more so for low-resource languages such as Swedish, dependent on the progress of models for the large international languages. LÄS MER
4. Self-Supervised Learning for Tabular Data: Analysing VIME and introducing Mix Encoder
Kandidat-uppsats, Lunds universitet/Fysiska institutionenSammanfattning : We introduce Mix Encoder, a novel self-supervised learning framework for deep tabular data models based on Mixup [1]. Mix Encoder uses linear interpolations of samples with associated pretext tasks to form useful pre-trained representations. LÄS MER
5. Structural analysis of HZO thin film and electrode using X-ray diffraction
Kandidat-uppsats, Lunds universitet/Synkrotronljusfysik; Lunds universitet/Fysiska institutionenSammanfattning : Since its discovery in 2011, the ferroelectricity of thin films based on HfO2 has been studied intensively. In particular, thin films with a 1:1 ratio of HfO2 and ZrO2 (HZO) has been of great interest. The ferroelectricity arises from a non-centrosymmetric orthorhombic (o) phase of HZO whose prevalence is dependent on the processing conditions. LÄS MER
