  1. 1. Intermediate layer contacts for tandem solar cells based on ALD SnO2

    Master-uppsats, Uppsala universitet/Institutionen för fysik och astronomi

    Författare :Georgia Iona; [2021]
    Nyckelord :Ald; SnO2; tandem cell; solar cell; IML; intermediate layer;

    Sammanfattning : In this project, samples with a metal/semiconductor/metal structure were fabricated and investigated with the potential application as the interconnecting layer of a tandem solar cell in mind. Degenerately doped p-Si and n-Si were used as bottom (metal like) contacts, as Si represents one of the most common materials for the bottom cell of tandem devices. LÄS MER

  2. 2. Ultra-Thin Ag Films on the Sn/Si(111)-√3×√3 Surface Studied by STM

    Master-uppsats, Karlstads universitet/Institutionen för ingenjörsvetenskap och fysik (from 2013)

    Författare :Rasmus Lavén; [2018]
    Nyckelord :Silver; Silicon; Tin; Metal-semiconductor interfaces; Thin metal films; Scanning tunneling microscopy; Quantum size effects;

    Sammanfattning : The growth of atomically flat silver films on Si(111) usually requires a two-step growth, including deposition at low temperature (≈100 K) followed by slowly annealing to room temperature. In addition, flat silver films are usually only obtained on Si(111) for film thicknesses larger than the critical thickness of 6 monolayer. LÄS MER

  3. 3. STM-based characterization of single GaInP photovoltaic nanowires

    Kandidat-uppsats, Lunds universitet/Synkrotronljusfysik; Lunds universitet/Fasta tillståndets fysik; Lunds universitet/Fysiska institutionen

    Författare :Johannes Brask; [2016]
    Nyckelord :STM top contact method GaInP nanowire array solar cell; Physics and Astronomy;

    Sammanfattning : The I-V and photovoltaic properties of III-V semiconducting GaInP nanowires have been studied using a scanning tunneling microscope (STM) in evaluation for usage as a potential "sub cell" in a nanowire based tandem solar cell configuration. This evaluation required precise I-V characterization and photo response measurements of individual nanowires. LÄS MER
