  1. 1. Performance of 2-18 GHz RF Switches Implemented in Chip & Wire Technology : Analysis of switch topologies, bias networks and an in-depth EM analysis of bondwires

    Master-uppsats, KTH/Skolan för elektroteknik och datavetenskap (EECS)

    Författare :Gustav Eliasson; [2023]
    Nyckelord :RF Switch; PIN diode; Chip Wire Technology; Wide Bandwidth; High isolation; Single-Pole-Single-Throw; Single-Pole-Double-Throw RF Switch; PIN diode; Chip Wire Technology; Wide Bandwidth; Single-Pole-SingleThrow; Single-Pole-Double-Throw; RF-omkopplare; PIN-diod; Chip Wire Tekonologi; Bredbandig; Hög isolation; Enkelpolig-enkakast; Enkelpolig-dubbelkast;

    Sammanfattning : The ability to control the path a signal takes through microwave circuitry is crucial when designing RF systems. The component that allows for the control of the signal path is called a switch, and it is the microwave component that this thesis will focus on. LÄS MER

    Uppsats för yrkesexamina på avancerad nivå, Lunds universitet/Institutionen för reglerteknik

    Författare :Nikhil Challa; [2023]
    Nyckelord :Technology and Engineering;

    Sammanfattning : Wireless communication has seamlessly integrated itself into our daily lives, with Ericsson pioneering the development of comprehensive mobile ecosystems. As the demand for data traffic continues to surge, the enhancement of both cellular radio systems and backhaul infrastructure remains paramount. LÄS MER

  3. 3. There’s a Microwave in the Hallway

    Master-uppsats, Göteborgs universitet/Institutionen för data- och informationsteknik

    Författare :Yasmeen Emampoor; [2022-04-20]
    Nyckelord :embodied question answering; visual question answering; multi-modality; information fusion;

    Sammanfattning : Embodied Question Answering (EQA) is a task in which an agent situated in virtual environment navigates from its current position to an object (Navigation), and then answer a question about it (Visual Question Answering, VQA), for example “What color is the table in the table in the kitchen?” This project examines how an agent modelled as a deep neural network uses semantic information from its language model and visual information to answer questions in the second task. This is important since due to the regular nature of the task and the dataset it could be that the model is answering questions purely based on general semantic information from its language model (tables are frequently brown) and not relying on the visual scene, a phenomenon that is commonly known as hallucinating. 4. 4. Dataset based on volunteer campaign to optimize novel sensor for muscle quality

    Uppsats för yrkesexamina på grundnivå, Uppsala universitet/Fasta tillståndets elektronik

    Författare :Sophia Holmqvist; [2022]
    Nyckelord :sarcopenia; microwaves; medical imaging;

    Sammanfattning : This project had its primary focus on running a campaign to recruit healthy volunteers for a test study involving the utilization of a microwave sensor and ultrasound measurements. The key system used was the Muscle Analyzer System (MAS), which consisted of the Bandstop Filter Sensor (BFS), a microwave sensor transmitting microwaves into the selected medium through transmission and a FieldFox Vector Network Analyzer which was used to transmit these microwaves. 5. 5. Characterization of monkey fat tissues : To assist their viability for fat intra-body communication as an early step of non-human primate testing (NHP)

    Uppsats för yrkesexamina på grundnivå, Uppsala universitet/Institutionen för materialvetenskap

    Författare :Qsai Alyounes; Alkari Razan; [2022]
    Nyckelord :Fat-IBC; Monkey tissues; Phantoms; Network analyzer; Dielectric proporties;

    Sammanfattning : Fat intra-body communication is a newly proven concept that is built on using human fat tissues as a communication channel for electromagnetic waves inside the body. This allows for two implanted external devices to connect through an intra-body closed-loop communication channel. LÄS MER
