  1. 1. Mining and comparing software testing metrics and evaluating the use of different test quality metric tools

    Kandidat-uppsats, Göteborgs universitet/Institutionen för data- och informationsteknik

    Författare :Mattias Ekdahl; Simon Engström; [2022-09-28]
    Nyckelord :test quality metrics; mutation testing; mining software repositories; code coverage; test diversity;

    Sammanfattning : Software test metrics are often compared with one another to find the most accurate predictor of test quality, however little is written about the connections between types of metrics. Moreover, open-source software is more commonly used to extract these test metrics, but the issues researchers face when attempting to use them is under-reported. LÄS MER

  2. 2. Data mining historical insights for a software keyword from GitHub and Libraries.io; GraphQL

    Kandidat-uppsats, Linköpings universitet/Institutionen för datavetenskap

    Författare :Gustaf Bodemar; [2022]
    Nyckelord :Data mining; Web scraping; Historical data analysis; GitHub; Libraries.io; GraphQL; Datautvinning; Webbskrapning; Historisk dataanalys; GitHub; Libraries.io; GraphQL;

    Sammanfattning : This paper explores an approach to extracting historical insights into a software keyword by data mining GitHub and Libraries.io. We test our method using the keyword GraphQL to see what insights we can gain. We managed to plot several timelines of how repositories and software libraries related to our keyword were created over time. LÄS MER

  3. 3. Investigating topic modeling techniques for historical feature location.

    Master-uppsats, Karlstads universitet/Institutionen för matematik och datavetenskap (from 2013)

    Författare :Lukas Schulte; [2021]
    Nyckelord :feature location; topic modeling; changesets; latent dirichlet distribution; pachinko alloca-tion; mining software repositories; source code comprehension;

    Sammanfattning : Software maintenance and the understanding of where in the source code features are implemented are two strongly coupled tasks that make up a large portion of the effort spent on developing applications. The concept of feature location investigated in this thesis can serve as a supporting factor in those tasks as it facilitates the automation of otherwise manual searches for source code artifacts. 4. 4. Open-Source Software engagement and participation on Github pre and during the covid-19 pandemic

    Master-uppsats, Uppsala universitet/Institutionen för informatik och media

    Författare :Ellah Madyopa; [2021]
    Nyckelord :Github; Github; ICTs access; Github API; Online working; ANOVA; Engagement; Participation; Motivation; Covid-19; Open-Source software; Engagement; Activity; Online communities;

    Sammanfattning : In my study, I present the mining, collection and analysis of GitHub projects data in an endeavor to understand how the activity and engagement on the different projects has been before and during the Covid-19 pandemic.  Data was collected from 20 repositories via Github API. 5. 5. An empirical assessment of the predictive quality of internal product metrics to predict software maintainability in practice

    Master-uppsats, Blekinge Tekniska Högskola/Institutionen för programvaruteknik

    Författare :Xinhao Wu; Maike Zhang; [2020]
    Nyckelord :software metrics; maintainability; predict; measurements; mining soft- ware repositories; retrospective study; mean time to repair; MTTR;

    Sammanfattning : Background. Maintainability of software products continues to be an area of im- portance and interest both for practice and research. The time used for maintenance usually exceeds 70% of the whole period of software development process. LÄS MER
