  2. 12. Using Artificial Neural Networks to Predict One Year Population Mortality Rates

    Master-uppsats, KTH/Skolan för elektroteknik och datavetenskap (EECS)

    Författare :Shun Huang; [2019]
    Nyckelord :;

    Sammanfattning : Being able to predict mortality rates is the key factor in any pension or life insurance companies’ business model. Artificial Neural Networks are already being tested and implemented to predict mortality in the field of medical science, with recent studies showing promising results of their predictive power in one year mortality rates. 4. 14. Comparison of prices of life insurances using different mortality rates models

    Master-uppsats, Mälardalens högskola/Akademin för utbildning, kultur och kommunikation

    Författare :Belinda Straß; [2018]
    Nyckelord :Pricing life insurances; modelling mortality rate; logistic model; Heligmann– Pollard HP4; power–exponential model;

    Sammanfattning : Capturing mortality became a crucial modelling problem throughout the years due to the raising demand of life insurances and annuities. Fitting three models, namely, logistic, Heligman– Pollard HP4 and power–exponential model, to real life data shows that latter two models represent the actual data quite well. LÄS MER

  5. 15. Does policy adoption influence the association between socio-economic differences and smoking prevalence? A longitudinal analysis 2008-2015

    Master-uppsats, Lunds universitet/Socialmedicin och global hälsa
