    Sammanfattning : Denna studie söker sammanfatta och analysera ett drygt sekels samlingsförvaltning och autenticitetsbruk av sekelskifteskonstnären Julius Kronbergs ateljé, som sedan 1922 funnits som museal miljö på friluftsmuseet Skansen i Stockholm. Problemet som utgör studiens fokus kretsar kring den bevarandeproblematik som uppstått då man i samma stund velat använda och bevara en autentisk miljö som i grund och botten har tämligen dåliga bevarandeförutsättningar.
