   Sammanfattning : The purpose of this thesis is to examine whether the doctrine of Responsibility to Protect has influenced the United Nations’ Security Council in its resolutions from 2006 and 2007 with regard to the humanitarian situation in the Sudanese province of Darfur. The Responsibility to Protect was first introduced into the global community in 2001, serving as a response to the debate regarding intervention in and violation of state sovereignty. LÄS MER
