    Sammanfattning : Den här uppsatsen belyser den svenska nationalismens uttrycksformer, så som de framgår av Stockholmstidningarna Dagligt Allehanda, Inrikes Tidningar och Stockholms Posten i mars 1805. Nationalismen undersöks huvudsakligen utifrån Michael Billigs teorier om banal nationalism, vilket syftar till oreflekterade, vardagliga attityder som skiljer mellan ”oss” och ”dem” och formar en nationell gemenskap.
