    Sammanfattning : This thesis explores text-to-SQL generation using Large Language Models within a financial context, aiming to assess the efficacy of current benchmarks and techniques. The central investigation revolves around the accuracy of the BIRD-Bench benchmark and the applicability of text-to-SQL models in real-world scenarios. LÄS MER

  3. 3. Unconditional cash transfers to single mothers effective for child education? – Using a historical policy experiment

    Master-uppsats, Stockholms universitet/Företagsekonomiska institutionen

    Författare :Linnea Karlsson; [2023]
    Nyckelord :Unconditional cash transfers; needs-based cash grants; welfare targeting; human capital development accumulation; skill formation technology; regression kink design;

    Sammanfattning : In this thesis, I examine whether unconditional cash transfers to poor femaleheaded households have an effect on children’s educational attainment. Using a historical Swedish child allowance policy that targeted unconditional cash transfers to widow mothers with an income below a poverty threshold, I lay out a credible identification strategy, to test the hypothesis with a regression kink design. 4. 4. Detection of insurance fraud using NLP and ML

    Master-uppsats, Lunds universitet/Matematisk statistik

    Författare :Rasmus Bäcklund; Hampus Öhman; [2023]
    Nyckelord :Technology and Engineering;

    Sammanfattning : Machine-Learning can sometimes see things we as humans can not. In this thesis we evaluated three different Natural Language Procces-techniques: BERT, word2vec and linguistic analysis (UDPipe), on their performance in detecting insurance fraud based on transcribed audio from phone calls (referred to as audio data) and written text (referred to as text-form data), related to insurance claims. 5. 5. Understanding Sales Performance Using Natural Language Processing - An experimental study evaluating rule-based algorithms in a B2B setting

    Master-uppsats, Stockholms universitet/Institutionen för data- och systemvetenskap

    Författare :Angelica Smedberg; [2023]
    Nyckelord :NLP; Sentiment Analysis; Ruled-based algorithms; TextBlob; VADER; Naïve Bayes; Machine Learning;

    Sammanfattning : Natural Language Processing (NLP) is a branch in data science that marries artificial intelligence with linguistics. Essentially, it tries to program computers to understand human language, both spoken and written. Over the past decade, researchers have applied novel algorithms to gain a better understanding of human sentiment. LÄS MER
