1. Improving polarizing neutron optics by introducing 11B4C as interlayers
Master-uppsats, Linköpings universitet/TunnfilmsfysikSammanfattning : In this report, the effects of adding 11B4C as interlayers into Fe/Si multilayers is studied. Fe/Si multilayers are commonly used for neutron polarization at large research facilities, and improving the polarizing properties would improve their efficiency. LÄS MER
2. Phosphonium Ionic Liquids at Interfaces: NR studies of interfacial electro-responsiveness
3. 2D Neutron Imaging with 10B-Based Multi-Blade Detector
Master-uppsats, Lunds universitet/Fysiska institutionen; Lunds universitet/KärnfysikSammanfattning : In the field of thermal-neutron imaging, the Multi-Blade detector concept and design, being developed for the upcoming European Spallation Source in Lund, Sweden, is unique. The current report presents, for the first time, the neutron-imaging capabilities of a boron-10-based Multi-Blade thermal-neutron detector, measured at a reflectometry instrument at Rutherford Appleton Laboratory in Oxfordshire, England under high spallation neutron flux. 4. Neutron Reflectometry performed on an Iridium Sample using the Multi-Blade Detector
Master-uppsats, Lunds universitet/Kärnfysik; Lunds universitet/Fysiska institutionenSammanfattning : The current thesis presents the results from a neutron reflectometry analysis performed on data collected at ISIS in Rutherford Appleton Laboratories, England, in October 2017. The CRISP instrument was used and the Multi-Blade incorporated as a detector. This was the first attempt ever to use the Multi-Blade in this type of measurement. LÄS MER
