    Sammanfattning : This study aims to provide an understanding of the reasoning and decision-making processes of Swedish newspapers in their work with push notifications. Hence the overarching research question is: how do Swedish newsrooms reason about the choice to spread certain news through push notifications? In order to answer this research question, seven semi-structured interviews with online editors, news editors and managing editors from three different newspapers (Svenska Dagbladet, Norrköpings Tidningar, Kristianstadsbladet/Norra Skåne) were conducted.
