Sammanfattning : The bone scan is a common nuclear medicine imaging procedure that is mainly used for evaluating several oncological patient groups. A radioactive tracer, 99mTc -labelled diphosphonate, is injected intravenously and accumulates in the skeleton. Sammanfattning : Purpose: The aim of this study was to introduce a volumetric convolutional neural network for segmentation of the kidneys in SPECT images and to apply it in the dosimetry of radiopharmaceuticals of this organ, in order to decrease segmentation time and to standardize the segmentation of the kidneys. Method: Three networks were trained using two network architectures and a total of 216 retrospectively collected images from patients that underwent imaging procedures at Sahlgrenska University Hospital between 2009 and 2018. Sammanfattning : Swedish Nuclear Fuel and Waste Management Company- SKB has conducted measurement campaigns at the Swedish central interim storage facility for spent nuclear fuel- CLAB over the years, extending from year 2003 to 2019 where the gamma energy escape was acquired. At CLAB the spent nuclear fuel assembly is inserted into the calorimeter; device intended to measure temperature increase due to decay heat from the fuel assembly. LÄS MER
