  1. 11. Ensuring the Security of PyPI Packages

    Master-uppsats, Göteborgs universitet/Institutionen för data- och informationsteknik

    Författare :David Shakoori Gustafsson; [2023-10-23]
    Nyckelord :Computer science; Security; Python; PyPI; Typosquatting;

    Sammanfattning : Developers often use open-source code libraries in order to achieve desired functionalities without needing to re-implement existing code. Python developers are no exceptions here, and frequently use the Python Package Index, PyPI, to download the specific code packages they want to use. LÄS MER

  2. 12. Assessing the Costs and Benefits of Proactively Adding Features in opensource system Bitcoin-Wallet: A Simulation study

    Kandidat-uppsats, Göteborgs universitet/Institutionen för data- och informationsteknik

    Författare :Ramzi Samir Masoud Abu Zahra; [2023-08-03]
    Nyckelord :Simulator; annotations; traceability;

    Sammanfattning : Objective: This paper builds on previous research and expands on the cost-benefit analysis of proactive feature annotation, with a focus on using Java to validate the findings from a real-world case study. Background: The significance of features within a system lies behind the need to locate them as they often necessitate identification for enhancement, and editing-related activities. LÄS MER

  3. 13. Development of a guide system for free neutron oscillation searches at the European Spallation Source

    Master-uppsats, Lunds universitet/Fysiska institutionen; Lunds universitet/Lunds Tekniska Högskola; Lunds universitet/European Spallation Source ESS AB

    Författare :Linnéa Björk; [2023]
    Nyckelord :ESS; neutrons; dark matter; antimatter; neutron guides; Physics and Astronomy;

    Sammanfattning : In this project, a neutron delivery system for the study of free neutron oscillations at the HIBEAM beamline at the European Spallation Source (ESS) has been developed. The HIBEAM experiment is part of a two-stage program at ESS which will address open questions in physics; specifically the nature of dark matter and the observed asymmetry between matter and antimatter in the Universe. 4. 14. Utforskning utav Linux roll i att Accelerera Tid till Marknaden för Inbyggda System

    Kandidat-uppsats, Jönköping University/JTH, Avdelningen för datateknik och informatik

    Författare :Josua Alexandersson; Jesper Persson; [2023]
    Nyckelord :;

    Sammanfattning : How can Linux reduce the time required for development in embedded systems, and what makes Linux appealing to embedded developers despite the loss in overall control? Through qualitative interviews with industry professionals and a systematic literature review, challenges and benefits of using Linux in embedded systems development were identified and discussed. Three hypotheses were formulated based on recurring topic agreement among the interview subjects: Reduced development time through the use of open-source solutions, struggles with real-time and security requirements, and challenges within troubleshooting and dependency management.
