6. Fabrication of a light-weight SOFC using ceramic fibre paper as substrate
Master-uppsats, Lunds universitet/Centrum för analys och syntesSammanfattning : A novel method for the fabrication of a light-weight solid oxide fuel cell (SOFC) has been evaluated at Catator. This was conducted in order to lower the weight and thus cost of an unmanned aerial vehicle. The main aim for this thesis was to achieve a thin, dense and crack-free electrolyte using a ceramic fibre paper as substrate. LÄS MER
8. Synchrotron tomography of pressboard during in-situ compression loading : Construction of compression rig, image acquisition procedure and methods for image processing
Uppsats för yrkesexamina på avancerad nivå, Uppsala universitet/Tillämpad mekanikSammanfattning : Pressboard, a high density cellulose-based material used for insulation in high voltage power transformers, exhibits stress relaxation during compressive loading. Investigating the micro-mechanical mechanisms responsible for the relaxation can lead to modifications of the production process to control the behaviour of the material. LÄS MER
9. Rotational Diffusion of Cellulose Nanofibrils.
Kandidat-uppsats, KTH/MekanikSammanfattning : Cellulose nanofibrils, CNF, is a technical term for the smallest crystalline constituents of wood. Namely particles of cylindrical shape measuring 20-40 nm in diameter and 1-2 um in length. These fibrils display high ultimate tensile strength and a Young's modulus comparable to Kevlar. LÄS MER
10. Optical sensors for mechanomyography and tissue chromophores
Kandidat-uppsats, Lunds universitet/Atomfysik; Lunds universitet/Fysiska institutionenSammanfattning : The mechanomyogram (MMG) is a mechanical oscillations observable on the surface of the skin as a muscle contracts. Measurement of the MMG utilizing contact sensors with a weight greater than 6 g has proved to interfere with the measurement. Use of optical displacement sensors without direct contact to the skin would remove this deficiency. LÄS MER
