  1. 11. Simulation Testbed for Liquid Chromatography

    Master-uppsats, Umeå universitet/Institutionen för fysik

    Författare :David Andersson; [2021]
    Nyckelord :;

    Sammanfattning : The stlc package is proposed as a tool for simulation of liquid chromatography by implementing several lumped kinetic models which combine diffusive mass  transport and adsorption isotherm equations. The purpose of the package is to provide computationally efficient approximations to the general rate model of chromatography. LÄS MER

  2. 12. On the Interaction Between Electromagnetic, Gravitational, and Plasma Related Perturbations on LRS Class II Spacetimes

    Uppsats för yrkesexamina på avancerad nivå, Umeå universitet/Institutionen för fysik

    Författare :Philip Semrén; [2021]
    Nyckelord :;

    Sammanfattning : In this thesis, we investigate the interaction between electromagnetic, gravitational, and plasma related perturbations on homogeneous and hypersurface orthogonal Locally Rotationally Symmetric (LRS) class II spacetimes. By using these spacetimes, which allow for the inclusion of a non-zero magnetic field, as backgrounds in a perturbative approach, we are able to see interactions between the electromagnetic and gravitational variables already to first order in the perturbations. 3. 13. Neural Ordinary Differential Equations for Anomaly Detection

    Master-uppsats, KTH/Matematisk statistik

    Författare :Jón Hlöðver Friðriksson; Erik Ågren; [2021]
    Nyckelord :Anomaly detection; Neural ordinary differential equations; Statistical modelling; Autoregression; Variational autoencoder; Multivariate time series; Anomalidetektion; Neurala ordinära differentialekvationer; Statistisk modellering; Autoregression; Variational autoencoder; Multivariat tidsserie;

    Sammanfattning : Today, a large amount of time series data is being produced from a variety of different devices such as smart speakers, cell phones and vehicles. This data can be used to make inferences and predictions. Neural network based methods are among one of the most popular ways to model time series data. LÄS MER

  4. 14. Modeling The Temperature of a Calorimeter at Clab : Considering a Thermodynamic Model of The Temperature Evolution of The Calorimeter System 251

    Uppsats för yrkesexamina på avancerad nivå, Uppsala universitet/Tillämpad kärnfysik

    Författare :Johannes Ekman; [2021]
    Nyckelord :calorimetry; calorimeter; System 251; temperature evolution; spent nuclear fuel; SNF; MATLAB; SERPENT2; Clab; nuclear decay heat; calibration measurements; thermodynamic model; gamma escape fraction; mass correction; calibration measurements; electric heater; three component system; system of ordinary differential equations; eigenvalues; eigenvalue estimation; temperature increase method; polynomial approximation of mass correction; sensitivity of mass correction; calorimeter heat capacity; mass correction uncertainty; calorimeter calibration curve; monoenergetic gamma spectrum; curve fitting of temperature as function of time;

    Sammanfattning : It is important to know the heat generated due to nuclear decay in the final repository for spent nuclear fuel. In Sweden, the heating powers generated in spent nuclear fuels are currently measured in the calorimeter System 251 at the Clab facility, Oskarshamn. LÄS MER

  5. 15. Implementation of 3 stage Lobatto IIIC into the Assimulo package

    Kandidat-uppsats, Lunds universitet/Matematik (naturvetenskapliga fakulteten); Lunds universitet/Matematikcentrum

    Författare :Edmund Aristid Lehsten; [2021]
    Nyckelord :3 Stage Lobatto IIIC; Lobatto IIIC; Assimulo; Mathematics and Statistics;

    Sammanfattning : In recent years, the popularity of discontinuous Galerkin methods has increased. As shown in [19], a result exists that states that the Discontinuous Galerkin space approximations (DG) are equivalent to the Lobatto IIIC Runge-Kutta method. LÄS MER
