1. FEM analysis of existing buildings during renovation
Master-uppsats, KTH/HållfasthetsläraSammanfattning : In this masters thesis the aim was to investigate a part of Sturegallerian in Stockholm to be reconstructed. The reconstruction did implicate that openings were to be established in an already existing masonry wall. LÄS MER
2. Multi-Scale Topology Optimization of Lattice Structures Using Machine Learning
Uppsats för yrkesexamina på avancerad nivå, Uppsala universitet/Tillämpad mekanikSammanfattning : This thesis explores using multi-scale topology optimization (TO) by utilizing inverse homogenization to automate the adjustment of each unit-cell's geometry and placement in a lattice structure within a pressure vessel (the design domain) to achieve desired structural properties. The aim is to find the optimal material distribution within the design domain as well as desired material properties at each discretized element and use machine learning (ML) to map microstructures with corresponding prescribed effective properties. 3. Dynamisk analys av betonghåldäck : Parametrisk FEM studie
Kandidat-uppsats, KTH/Byggteknik och designSammanfattning : Hollow-core concrete slabs can be used in buildings to achieve longer floor spans in comparison to regular concrete slabs. However, longer floor spans in combination with low dead-weight make them more susceptible to vibrations.Frequencies between 0-15 Hz are relevant to study since these lower frequencies affect the comfort of humans. 4. Finite Element Macro-modeling of a Historical Masonry Building : Influence of Isotropic vs Anisotropic Plastic Material Model Assumption in Static Analysis
Master-uppsats, KTH/Bro- och stålbyggnadSammanfattning : In this study, a macro-modeling strategy is implemented in a bearing wall with arch openings in an existing historical masonry building. This is to investigate what differences and similarities can be observed from the assumption of an orthotropic versus an isotropic constitutive material model. LÄS MER
5. Validation of An Iteration Free Material Model for Paperboard (NEO)
Uppsats för yrkesexamina på avancerad nivå, Lunds universitet/Hållfasthetslära; Lunds universitet/Institutionen för byggvetenskaperSammanfattning : The NEO model, developed by Lindström (2019) for paperboard, is a non-linear material model that utilizes empirically based constitutive relations with switches to mimic elastic-plastic responses. Due to the explicit definition of the constitutive relations, the NEO model does not require a constitutive equilibrium loop. LÄS MER
