  1. 1. Application of Fourier Transforms to time-resolved ambient pressure spectroscopy operando studies of CO oxidation over Pt(111)

    Master-uppsats, Lunds universitet/Fysiska institutionen; Lunds universitet/Synkrotronljusfysik

    Författare :Grigore-Leon Ratiu; [2024]
    Nyckelord :Physics and Astronomy;

    Sammanfattning : The study of heterogeneous catalysis has important implications in increasing the efficiency of industrial processes and in reducing the emissions of greenhouse gases from sources such as automobiles. A reaction with high industrial relevance is the oxidation of CO on noble metal catalysts. LÄS MER

  2. 2. Understanding Sustainability Transitions: The Perspective of Innovators in incumbent firms - A case study of the roles and challenges faced by innovators and incumbent firms

    Master-uppsats, Göteborgs universitet/Graduate School

    Författare :Marcus Källström; [2023-07-20]
    Nyckelord :Sustainability transitions; Transitions; Sustainability; Innovators; Incumbent firms; Multi-level perspective; Regime innovation; Role of innovators; Transition roles;

    Sammanfattning : Creating green sustainable innovation is a step in the right direction towards a sustainable future. It is however not sure that incremental improvements will be enough, it is instead called for radical shifts in socio-technical systems, so called sustainability transitions. LÄS MER

  3. 3. Morphological study of PS/PMMA-matrix on glass, related to vapour pressure, mass-fraction, and size

    Kandidat-uppsats, Karlstads universitet/Institutionen för ingenjörs- och kemivetenskaper (from 2013)

    Författare :Gustav Larsson; [2023]
    Nyckelord :organic solar cells; polymer; morphology; film; AFM;

    Sammanfattning : The objective of this study is to observe how changing amount or ratio between dried mixes of poly-methyl-methacrylate and poly-styrene change the surface appearance, and how the results might inform future design of Organic photovoltaic cells, whom are based on polymer mixtures and heavenly dependent on the arrangement of polymers. An atomic force microscope was used on glass surfaces coated in a poly-methyl-methacrylate/poly-styrene matrix and dried from either dichloromethane or ethyl-acetate to determine surface appearance. 4. 4. The effect of high pressure homogenization on emulsions containing oat β-glucan : a study of viscosity, stability and molecular weight

    Master-uppsats, Lunds universitet/Livsmedelsteknik och nutrition (master)

    Författare :Dominika Kiesling; [2023]
    Nyckelord :oat; β-glucan; high pressure homogenization; emulsion; stability; food technology; Agriculture and Food Sciences;

    Sammanfattning : This master thesis project has been conducted in cooperation with Lantmännen AB who are producers of PromOat® - an oat β-glucan powder concentrate. The main objective of this thesis was to investigate the properties of emulsions containing PromOat® oat β-glucan, focusing on the viscosity, stability, and molecular weight before and after high pressure homogenization (HPH) at pressures of 100, 150 and 200 bars. 5. 5. Characterization of Pressure and Velocity Fields in Acoustophoresis Using Particle Tracks

    Master-uppsats, KTH/Tillämpad fysik

    Författare :Jonathan Karlsson; [2023]
    Nyckelord :Acoustofluidics; Acoustophoresis; Ultrasonic Standing Waves; Acoustic fields; Particle tracking; Bio marking; Akustofluidik; Akustofores; Stående Ultraljuds Vågor; Akustiska fält; Particle tracking; Bio-markering;

    Sammanfattning : This master’s thesis explores the possibility of calculating and using the pressure andvelocity fields responsible for acoustophoresis. The goal was to use simulated data,similar to two-dimensional particle tracks from a specific microfluidic platform, toestimate the force potential and solve the partial differential equation (PDE) thatgoverns the relationship between the force potential and the acoustic fields.
