1. ”Måste påminna mig om attjag inte känner dem i verkligheten” : En studie om svenska k-popfans parasociala vanor
Kandidat-uppsats, Linnéuniversitetet/Institutionen för medier och journalistik (MJ)Sammanfattning : This quantitative study aims to understand the parasocial interaction (PSI) and parasocial relationship (PSR) between Swedish k-pop (korean popular music) fans and k-pop idols. The study also aims to understand how gender and stereotypes affect the way parasocial relationships are formed and upheld. LÄS MER
2. Real-time Autofocus Algorithm in Laser Speckle Contrast Imaging
Master-uppsats, KTH/Skolan för kemi, bioteknologi och hälsa (CBH)Sammanfattning : Microcirculation is defined as the blood flow in the smallest blood vessels. Laser speckle contrast imaging (LSCI) is a full field imaging technique that provides instantaneous 2-D perfusion maps of illuminated tissues based on speckle contrast. LÄS MER
3. Integrability and Thermodynamics of the Gross-Neveu Model
Master-uppsats, KTH/FysikSammanfattning : The Gross-Neveu model is a quantum field theory of interacting N-flavor fermions in 1+1dimensions, with interaction term $(\bar{\psi}_f\psi_f )^2$. This model is studied using the property offactorized scattering. LÄS MER
4. The Riemann Zeta Function and Prime Numbers
Kandidat-uppsats, KTH/Skolan för teknikvetenskap (SCI)Sammanfattning : This thesis is the result of a literature study regarding the relationship between the Riemann zeta function and prime numbers. We introduce the $\zeta$ function, discussing its properties. Then, starting from Riemann's original series, we derive the Euler product formula and functional equation for $\zeta$. LÄS MER
5. Beyond Traditional Tomography: X-ray Multi-projection Imaging for Additive Manufacturing
Kandidat-uppsats, Lunds universitet/Synkrotronljusfysik; Lunds universitet/Fysiska institutionenSammanfattning : The main aim of this bachelor thesis is to push the limits of 3D X-ray imaging by studying the minimum number of projections required to retrieve high-quality reconstructions for additive manufacturing processes. This project first focuses on understanding how X-ray tomography works, by reconstructing additive manufacturing data already obtained (from PSI, TOMCAT beamline) using two standard reconstruction algorithms, GRIDREC and SIRT.
