  2. 2. Potential and Limitations of the Sketch Map Tool in the International Red Cross Red Crescent Movement

    Master-uppsats, Lunds universitet/Avdelningen för Riskhantering och Samhällssäkerhet

    Författare :Kimon Letzner; [2024]
    Nyckelord :Disaster risk reduction; Participatory action research; Community risk mapping; International Red Cross Red Crescent Movement; Colombia; Technology and Engineering;

    Sammanfattning : In disaster risk management, participatory mapping (PM) closes spatial data gaps in communities by integrating local risk knowledge. The thesis examined the potential and limitations of the Sketch Map Tool (SMT) as a PM tool for community-based disaster risk reduction (DRR) through an International Red Cross Red Crescent Movement case study. 3. 3. Catching waves for sustainability? Investigating action oriented ESD for young surfers

    Master-uppsats, Göteborgs universitet/Institutionen för didaktik och pedagogisk profession

    Författare :Daja Malin Salge; [2023-10-12]
    Nyckelord :Surfing; Action Competence in Sustainability Education; Pro-Environmental Action; Participatory Action Research;

    Sammanfattning : Aim: As the surf lifestyle and industry are touching environmental, social and economic sustainability issues, this research aims to investigate action oriented ESD in an institution that is offering surfing activities, to explore and improve educational pathways that contribute to the promotion of sustainable action among surfers. Theory: For reaching this aim, theoretical approaches regarding pro-environmental actions are considered, and thus the corresponding educational framework of Action Competence is embedded as a central theoretical component, to plan, implement and evaluate an ESD program. 4. 4. InclusiveRender A metaverse Engine prototype to support Accessible Environments for people with ASD

    Kandidat-uppsats, Stockholms universitet/Institutionen för data- och systemvetenskap

    Författare :Oscar Borg; Niklas Enberg; [2023]
    Nyckelord :metaverse; Autism Spectrum Disorder; Virtual Reality; Immersive Learning; Personalised Learning; Machine Learning; Accessibility;

    Sammanfattning : The metaverse has seen increased usages in its capabilities as an educational tool by immersing users in virtual scenarios. This technology is inaccessible for user groups that require higher degrees of accessibility and personalization, as most metaverse implementations do not adjust to the user’s needs. LÄS MER

  5. 5. AI in Co-Creation : The usability and impact of AI tools for co- creation in participatory design to generate innovative and user- centric design solutions

    Master-uppsats, Södertörns högskola/Medieteknik

    Författare :Sabine Freese; [2023]
    Nyckelord :;

    Sammanfattning : The current study focuses on applying generative Artificial Intelligence (AI) in participatory design processes, specifically scrutinising the interactive dynamics between AI and human actors during the creative endeavour. Practice-oriented workshops and including a real, complex application example constituted the methodological framework. LÄS MER
