    Sammanfattning : The present study is an interview study with the aim of investigating how the interpretation of the interviewed pastors, from Pentecostal congregations, correlates to their biblical ideologyand biblical practice in relation to parts of the Bible which have to do with homosexuality. That is to say, how their expectations of the Bible, and the ways in which knowledge can be drawn from the texts therein, as well as the methods they use to reach their interpretation, impact their interpretation.     Sammanfattning : Pentecostals were the largest religious group among conscientious objectors in Sweden between 1967 and 1971, a time characterized by passionate debates on the ethics of war in the shadows of Vietnam and the Israeli-Palestinian conflict. This thesis aims to review and analyze how the Pentecostal periodicals Evangelii Härold and Dagen described and ethically motivated military violence and pacifism in different contexts during this period.     Sammanfattning : Since 1902 conscientious objectors in Sweden could apply for civil military services without arms, based on religious convictions. A new law in 1966 gave legal ground to apply for non-military service also based on ethical convictions. The number applicants increased much more than authorities expected. LÄS MER
