    Sammanfattning : The obscene Madame D [A obscena Senhora D, 1982] and With my dog-eyes [Com os meus olhos de cão, 1986] are two short novels by the Brazilian writer Hilda Hilst (1930-2004) where the protagonists engage in a philosophical search for meaning that lead them to a state that is publicly interpreted as madness. In this analysis, they are read in light of the philosopher's Jacques Derrida theory of deconstruction. LÄS MER

    Sammanfattning : There is a dramatic apocalyptic prophecy in Isaiah 34 that contains many strange animals and creatures, and the question is: why are they lurking there in fire, smoke and darkness? This thesis aims at examining the meaning of these beings using traditio-historical criticism and key word and image analysis, in an attempt to understand Isaiah's reason for using them in the biblical context. The fate of Edom has been smitten by an angry God, wild animals and even metaphysical powers are used in the description of the prophet. LÄS MER

Through the theoretical perspective of ecocritical feminism that emphasise the interconnectedness of the subjugation of women and the environment, this study delves into how Wolfe’s songs relate to nature and the feminine in relation to voice and song.     Sammanfattning : In the following essay, I examine the ecocritical aspects of the writings of Thomas Tidholm, Swedish poet and children’s author. I argue for the existence of “green threads” that permeate the authorship, and analyse them through three thematic chapters where several of Tidholm’s texts, for children and adults, are juxtaposed in order to expand, contrast and deepen one another.
