  1. 1. Towards Navigational Aids using Augmented Reality for People with Alzheimer’s Disease in Outdoor Environments : A user study using HoloLens 2 around a University campus

    Master-uppsats, KTH/Skolan för elektroteknik och datavetenskap (EECS)

    Författare :Léa Prémont; [2023]
    Nyckelord :Augmented reality; Alzheimer’s disease; Navigation; Assistive technology; HoloLens 2; Optical See-Through; Localization; Kalman filter; Hologram; TLX; SUS; Réalité augmentée; Alzheimer; Navigation; Technologie d’assistance; HoloLens 2; Optical See-Through; Localisation; Filtre de Kalman; Hologramme; TLX; SUS; Förstärkt verklighet; Alzheimers sjukdom; Navigering; Tekniska hjälpmedel; HoloLens 2; Optisk genomskinlighet; Lokalisering; Kalman-filter; Hologram; TLX; SUS;

    Sammanfattning : This paper investigates the potential of augmented reality (AR) as a navigational aid for individuals with Alzheimer’s disease (AD), offering innovative solutions to the evolving challenges of AD care. As the disease progresses, patients often require more assistance and may transition to care centers, resulting in reduced independence. LÄS MER

  2. 2. Noggrannhet av RTK-GPS-positionering av enskilda frön vid precisionssådd

    Uppsats för yrkesexamina på avancerad nivå, Lunds universitet/Industriell elektroteknik och automation

    Författare :Oskar Wikfeldt; Christoffer Pålsson Andersson; [2023]
    Nyckelord :Agriculture; Individual plant care; RTK; GPS; GNSS; Geo-referencing; Seed mapping; Agriculture and Food Sciences; Technology and Engineering;

    Sammanfattning : With higher demands on farmers to reduce the usage of fertilizers and pes ti cides because of their negative environmental impact, as well as the rising prices of resources required for agriculture, precision agriculture has become a big focus in today’s agriculture research. Individual plant care systems are a big part of precision agriculture, and accurate information about the po si tions of individual plants is required for these systems. LÄS MER

  3. 3. Planera för framkomlighet med fokus på signalprioritering

    Uppsats för yrkesexamina på avancerad nivå, Lunds universitet/Trafik och väg

    Författare :Linus Bergman; [2021]
    Nyckelord :brt; bhls; tram; signal priority; tsp; passability; priority; Technology and Engineering;

    Sammanfattning : För skapa ett transporteffektivt samhälle kommer kollektivtrafiken att spela en allt större roll i framtidens transportsystem. Om kollektivtrafiken utgör ett reellt alternativ till bilen kan den bidra till både sänkta utsläpp av växthusgaser och marknära partiklar och bidra till en mer effektiv användning av stadens yta. 4. 4. Artificial Intelligence applications for railway signalling

    Master-uppsats, KTH/Transportplanering

    Författare :Benjamin Smakic; [2021]
    Nyckelord :Artificial Intelligence; AI; Machine Learning; ML; Computer Vision; railway signalling; ERTMS level 3; GPS; autonomous train operations; Artificiell Intelligens; Maskininlärning; datorseende; signalteknik; autonoma tåg; självkörande tåg.;

    Sammanfattning : The main purpose of this Master Thesis is to investigate how front-facing, train-mounted cameras and Computer Vision, a type of Artificial Intelligence (AI), can be used to compensate for GPS inaccuracies. By using footage from track-recording cameras, Computer Vision can be utilized to determine the number of tracks and the track occupancy of the train, which would compensate GPS inaccuracies in the lateral positioning. 5. 5. RoBuoy : Dynamic Positioning of an Autonomous Buoy using GNSS

    Kandidat-uppsats, KTH/Mekatronik

    Författare :Erik Anderberg; Martin Olanders; [2021]
    Nyckelord :Autonomous; Buoy; GPS; GNSS; Robot; Mechatronics; Dynamic positioning; Autonom; Boj; GPS; GNSS; Robot; Mekatronik; Dynamisk positionering;

    Sammanfattning : Buoys anchored to the seabed are often used for marking courses in competitive sailing and other water sports, but they may need to be relocated several times per day. To avoid the time and fuel consuming labour of raising and moving the anchors, a prototype of an autonomous buoy using electric motors to maintain its position was built and tested. LÄS MER
