1. Potentialen för power-to-X från offshorevindkraft till vätgas kombinerat med stödtjänster : En studie om hur offshorevindkraften kan användas för produktion av fossilfri vätgas och samtidigt bidra till att stabilisera elnätet
Uppsats för yrkesexamina på avancerad nivå, Uppsala universitet/ElektricitetsläraSammanfattning : A society with interconnected energy sectors may be a contributing factor to reduce carbon dioxide emissions, while simultaneously meeting the increasing demand for electric energy. This study investigates the possibilities to link a sea-based wind farm with hydrogen gas production in addition to serving as a support function to a transmission systems operator. LÄS MER
2. Techno-economic analysis of large-scale production of e-methanol, via CO2- hydrogenation, in Power-to-X
Master-uppsats, Lunds universitet/Kemiteknik (CI)Sammanfattning : Global levels of carbon emissions are constantly rising causing irreversible damages to ecosystems. The heavy transport sector and the industrial sector are responsible for large amounts of the emissions on a yearly basis. LÄS MER
3. Evaluating electrolyser setups for hydrogen production from offshore wind power : A case study in the Baltic Sea
Master-uppsats, KTH/Skolan för industriell teknik och management (ITM)Sammanfattning : As part of the transition towards a fully sustainable energy system, green hydrogen shows great potential to decarbonise several hard-to-abate sectors. To provide the fossil-free electricity required for electrolysis, offshore wind power has emerged as a suggested option. LÄS MER
4. Decarbonisation of service vessels in offshore wind power through power-to-X self-sufficiency
Uppsats för yrkesexamina på avancerad nivå, Lunds universitet/Miljö- och energisystemSammanfattning : This report examines the possibilities of decarbonising operation & maintenance vessels for a prospective floating offshore wind power park at the Utsira Nord site in Norway, through self-sufficient energy carrier production utilizing power-to-X-solutions. Possible alternative fuels are identified as compressed hydrogen, batteries, liquid hydrogen, ammonia, methanol, and biofuels, out of which the former two are the subject for thorough investigation in this report.
