Sub-picosecond optical pulses can be used to generate intense broadband terahertz pulses through optical rectification in nonlinear crystals, reaching peak electric fields of several MV/m and conversion efficiencies as high as a few percent. 3. Rolling shutter in feature-based Visual-SLAM : Robustness through rectification in a wearable and monocular context

The compensation method involves rectifying the detected features, and the evaluation was conducted on the "Rolling-Shutter Visual-Inertial Odometry Dataset" from TUM, which comprises of ten sequences recorded with side-by-side synchronized global and rolling shutter cameras in a single room. Through my thesis I argue that the implicit author, the narratological position of the narrator, and the character called “The Narrator”, all three belong to, and constitute, the fictional character Valerie.
