  1. 16. Developing data processing program for a new radio magnetotelluric (RMT) instrument

    Kandidat-uppsats, Uppsala universitet/Geofysik

    Författare :Elis Uebel; [2022]
    Nyckelord :RMT radio magnetotellurics matlab GUI;

    Sammanfattning : The radio magnetotellucic (RMT) method originates from (Tikhonov, 1950) and (Cagniard,1953) who discovered the possibility to estimate resistivity in the Earth’s subsurface using naturally occurring telluric currents. This through measuring the surface impedance of electromagnetic waves. LÄS MER

  2. 17. 3D Geological Modelling of the Subsurface Adjacent to Cementa’s Quarry in Skövde, Sweden

    Master-uppsats, Uppsala universitet/Institutionen för geovetenskaper

    Författare :Minna Larsson; [2022]
    Nyckelord :3D model; limestone; cement production; resistivity; photogrammetry; Skövde; 3D modell; kalksten; cementproduktion; resistivitet; fotogrammetri; Skövde;

    Sammanfattning : Limestone is one of the main components of cement production. Limestone has been quarried in Skövde, Sweden, since the end of 19th century and Cementa AB has been operating the quarry since 1973. Aside from limestone, there are also Alum shale of Cambrian age, mudstones as well as bentonite layers of Ordovician age present in the quarry. LÄS MER

  3. 18. THE MONASTERY HILL: GEOPHYSICAL METHODS FOR DESCRIBING ARCHAEOLOGY AND NEAR-SURFACE GEOLOGY IN LÖDÖSE, SW SWEDEN

    Master-uppsats, Göteborgs universitet/Institutionen för geovetenskaper

    Författare :Tobias Möhl; Fredrik Andersson; [2021-09-21]
    Nyckelord :Near-surface geophysics; Ground-penetrating radar; Resistivity; Magnetic gradiometry; 3D modeling; Archaeology; Leached clay; Medieval monastery; Sweden;

    Sammanfattning : Even though Sweden has been one of the leading countries in the development of nearsurface geophysics instrumentation and practices, geophysical surveys in archaeology are not commonly used in Sweden. However, it is becoming increasingly popular, especially the use of ground-penetrating radar and metal detectors. LÄS MER

  4. 19. Integration of Borehole, Ground, and Airborne Data to Improve Identification of Areas With Quick Clays in Sweden

    Master-uppsats, Uppsala universitet/Geofysik

    Författare :Oskar Rydman; [2021]
    Nyckelord :TEM; tTEM; Quick clay; SkyTEM; ATEM; CPTR; CPTU-R; Landslides; Frastad; TEM; tTEM; Quick clay; SkyTEM; ATEM; CPTR; CPTU-R; Jordskred; Fråstad;

    Sammanfattning : The main focus of the project was the comparison of results from a new towed transientelectromagnetic (tTEM) data set with existing data including airborne transient EM(ATEM), radio magnetotellurics (RMT), cone penetration test with resistivity (CPT-R),geotechnical interpretations and geological observations in a quick clay landslide site atFråstad close to Lilla Edet in south-west Sweden. The tTEM data set was processedand inverted twice in the software Aarhus workbench using different inversion constraintsand settings. LÄS MER

  5. 20. Hall Measurements at Cryogenic Temperatures

    Master-uppsats, Lunds universitet/Institutionen för elektro- och informationsteknik

    Författare :Viktor Wallén; [2021]
    Nyckelord :Hall measurement; Hall effect; Cryoelectronics; Cryogenics; Subthreshold slope; Subthreshold swing; Mobility; Carrier Concentration; Resistivity; Boltzmann limit; van der Pauw measurement; Semiconductor; Nanoelectronics; Nanophysics; Solid state physics; Technology and Engineering;

    Sammanfattning : Kryoelektronik är av allt större intresse inom många tillämpningar, exempelvis för utveckling av kvantdatorer. Detta arbete vill därför undersöka de effekter kryogeniska temperaturer (under 10 K) har på halvledarkomponenter och deras elektriska egenskaper. Särskilt intressant är effekten på subthreshold swing (SS). LÄS MER
