  1. 1. A comparison between a traditional PID controller and an Artificial Neural Network controller in manipulating a robotic arm

    Kandidat-uppsats, KTH/Skolan för elektroteknik och datavetenskap (EECS)

    Författare :Joseph Ariss; Salim Rabat; [2019]
    Nyckelord :Artificial Intelligence; Artificial Neural Network; Control System; PID Controller; Model Reference Controller; Robot arm; Artificiell Intelligens; Artificiell Neuralt Nätverk; Kontroll System; PID-kontroller; Modellreferenskontroller; Robotarm;

    Sammanfattning : Robotic and control industry implements different control technique to control the movement and the position of a robotic arm. PID controllers are the most used controllers in the robotics and control industry because of its simplicity and easy implementation. However, PIDs’ performance suffers under noisy environments. 2. 2. Robotic Arm controlled by Arm Movements

    Kandidat-uppsats, KTH/Skolan för industriell teknik och management (ITM); KTH/Skolan för industriell teknik och management (ITM)

    Författare :Miko Nore; Caspar Westerberg; [2019]
    Nyckelord :Mechatronics; Robotic arm; Remote Control; Wireless.; Mekatronik; Robotarm; Fjärrstyrning; Trådlös.;

    Sammanfattning : In recent decades human workers in manufacturing and overall industry have largely been replaced with robots and automated machines, but there are still plenty of tasks where human cognition is necessary. This paper presents the development of a wireless robotic arm controlled by a human arm, allowing both for the combination of a robotic arms strength to be combined with a humans cognition, and also for a human to execute dynamic tasks without being present. 3. 3. Superquadrics Augmented Rapidly-exploring Random Trees.

    Master-uppsats, KTH/Skolan för industriell teknik och management (ITM)

    Författare :YARED EFREM AFEWORK; [2019]
    Nyckelord :Superquadrics; RRT; GJK; Collision Detection.; Superquadrics; RRT; GJK; Kollisionsdetektering.;

    Sammanfattning : This thesis work investigated the advantages and disadvantages of using superquadrics (SQ) to do the collision-checking part of the Rapidly-exploring Random Trees (RRT) motion planning algorithm for higher Degree of Freedom (DoF) motion planning, comparing it with an established proximity querying method known as the Gilbert-Johnson-Keerthi (GJK) algorithm. In the RRT algorithm, collision detection is the main bottleneck, making this topic interesting to research. LÄS MER

  4. 4. Prototypframtagning av robotarm med sex axlar genom 3D-skrivning

    Kandidat-uppsats,

    Författare :Erik Norstedt; Olof Bräne; [2019]
    Nyckelord :inverse kinematics; 3D-printing; 3D-printer; FDM; 3D-skrivare; 3D-skrivning; Arduino; robot; robotarm; kinematisk modell; prototyp; prototypframtagning; stegmotor;

    Sammanfattning : 3D-skrivare är inte längre något som endast stora företag har råd att använda sig av, utan någonting som har tagit sig ända till konsumentmarknaden. Detta har givit både hobbyanvändare och småföretag tillgång till ett kraftfullt verktyg för iterativ design. LÄS MER

  5. 5. SORTED : Serial manipulator with Object Recognition Trough Edge Detection

    Kandidat-uppsats, KTH/Skolan för industriell teknik och management (ITM); KTH/Skolan för industriell teknik och management (ITM)

    Författare :Rikard Bodén; Jonathan Pernow; [2019]
    Nyckelord :Mechatronics; Inverse kinematics; Camera vision; Barrel distortion; Object recognition; Colour filtering; Edge detection; Mekatronik; Invers kinematik; Kamerasensor; Fish-eye förvrängning; Objektigenkänning; Färgigenkänning; Kantdetektering;

    Sammanfattning : Today, there is an increasing demand for smart robots that can make decisions on their own and cooperate with humans in changing environments. The application areas for robotic arms with camera vision are likely to increase in the future of artificial intelligence as algorithms become more adaptable and intelligent than ever. LÄS MER
