    Sammanfattning : The purpose of this essay was to highlight what happens in the meeting between the child care investigator and the client, from the investigators perspective. Further, the essay examines the mechanisms affecting this relation – how the child care investigator's respective roles, as controlling authority and service provider, will be visible to the investigator and what the consequences of the presence of these two roles in the relation to the client are.
