   Sammanfattning : The study examines dance teachers' perceptions of how mental illness among adolescence can affect the role of teachers, what knowledge these teachers feel they have when they deal with these young people and where this knowledge comes from. Through semi-structured interviews which were analysed with thematic analysis and memo-writing, it emerged that the teachers feel that the role of the teacher is affected on a personal and professional level.
