    Sammanfattning : Internal boundary layers (IBLs) above lakes, created primarily by the autumn differential of land and lake surface temperatures, present a unique way of studying the lake-atmosphere coupling within the boundary layer. The small and mobile unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) contribute to new research areas within the boundary layer, offering high spatial resolution measurements to complement already existing observations.     Sammanfattning : Methane measurements over lake Tämnaren show a pronounced diurnal variation with high values at night and low values during daytime. The atmosphere over the lake and its surroundings is simulated with two different settings and resolutions of the WRF model during a period of eight days in May 2011 to investigate if a lake/land breeze circulation could be the cause of the observed methane variation.
