    Sammanfattning : This thesis investigates the use of propaganda in the form of iconography on Roman coins minted during the reign of the emperor Hadrian. More specifically this paper investigates the use of coins during the transitional period of Hadrian’s ascension to emperor and his use of iconography on coin minted during his famous travels of the empire, as well as coins minted in local provincial mints.
