1. Characterization of Bi-incorporated InSb(111)A/B Surfaces : An STM and XPS Study
Master-uppsats, Lunds universitet/Synkrotronljusfysik; Lunds universitet/Fysiska institutionenSammanfattning : In recent years, III-V semiconductor materials have received increasing attention due to their admirable electronic properties like direct tunable bandgaps and high charge carrier mobility. Indium Antimonide (InSb) possesses the largest electron mobility among III-V materials and is promising for infrared detectors, high-speed field effect transistors, and spintronics. LÄS MER
2. Evaluation of whole-body bone scans performed using a gamma camera with Cadmium Zinc Telluride detector
Master-uppsats,Sammanfattning : The bone scan is a common nuclear medicine imaging procedure that is mainly used for evaluating several oncological patient groups. A radioactive tracer, 99mTc -labelled diphosphonate, is injected intravenously and accumulates in the skeleton. The distribution of the tracer in the body is measured with a gamma camera 3 hours post-injection. LÄS MER
3. Event-based High Resolution X-ray Imaging using Compton Coincidence Detection
Master-uppsats, KTH/Medicinsk avbildningSammanfattning : Research on photon counting detectors (PCDs) is focused on semiconductor materials, and silicon is a strong candidate to use in PCDs for photon counting computer tomography (CT). In a silicon detector, a significant portion of the counts is due to Compton scattering events. LÄS MER
4. Optical characterisation of AAO/CsPbBr3 perovskite nanocomposites
Master-uppsats, Lunds universitet/Synkrotronljusfysik; Lunds universitet/Fysiska institutionenSammanfattning : Direct bandgap metal lead halide perovskites offer promising optoelectronic properties desirable in a wide range of applications including photodetection. However, the incomplete and poor understanding of the photophysical processes taking place in these materials, along with their poor stability, is the bottleneck for optimisation and further development of metal halide perovskite devices. 5. Improved Spatial Resolution in Segmented Silicon Strip Detectors
Kandidat-uppsats, KTH/Medicinteknik och hälsosystemSammanfattning : Semiconductor detectors are attracting interest for use in photon-counting spectral computed tomography. In order to obtain a high spatial resolution, it is of interest to find the photon interaction position. LÄS MER
