  1. 1. Sensor based training registration in riding horses : possible association between training regimen and locomotion asymmetry

    Master-uppsats, SLU/Dept. of Anatomy, Physiology and Biochemistry

    Författare :Astrid Almkvist; [2023]
    Nyckelord :training regimens; equisense; locomotion asymmetry; riding horses; lameness locator;

    Sammanfattning : Lameness remains a significant welfare concern in riding horses, with over 50% of documented equine injuries attributed to this condition. The precise quantification of training activities and the objective assessment of asymmetry can contribute substantially to our comprehension of the impact of training on injury occurrence and overall performance in riding horses. 2. 2. Human Activity Recognition Models and Step Counter With Smartphone Sensor Data

    Kandidat-uppsats, KTH/Skolan för elektroteknik och datavetenskap (EECS)

    Författare :Josef Afreim; Simon Bossér; [2023]
    Nyckelord :;

    Sammanfattning : In this time of technology, with the availability of wearable sensors and copiousamounts of cheap data, new uses of machine learning emerge. Tasks that were previouslyheld-back by a lack of data and computation power are today more feasible and useful thanever. Human activity recognition (HAR) is one such task. LÄS MER

  3. 3. Smartphone Sensor Data for Physical Activity Monitoring and Analysis

    Kandidat-uppsats, KTH/Skolan för elektroteknik och datavetenskap (EECS)

    Författare :Ivy Liu; Sebastian Hinze; [2023]
    Nyckelord :;

    Sammanfattning : As awareness of health risks associated with a sedentary lifestyle is raised, the demands fortechnological tools to help track one’s physical activity levels grow as well. A technologicalconcept that could be used to aid in this issue is human activity recognition (HAR), whichmaps signal data to recognisable human activity. LÄS MER

  4. 4. Classification of hyperkinesia in Parkinson patients using mobile sensors

    Master-uppsats, Lunds universitet/Matematisk statistik

    Författare :Gustaf von Grothusen; [2022]
    Nyckelord :Dyskinesia; hyperkinesia; Parkinson s disease; support vector machine; SVM; SVR; SVC; feature engineering; digital phenotyping; CDRS; smartphone; accelerometer; Mathematics and Statistics;

    Sammanfattning : In this thesis, we explore the possibility to monitoring hyperkinesia in people who suffer from Parkinson's disease (PD) using sensors in mobile phones. This is done by first collecting data from 25 patients diagnosed with PD by using a sensor-recording smartphone in a bag attached to the stomach, and at the same time let trained professionals make assessments of the degree of which they show signs of hyperkinesia, on the clinical dyskinesia rating scale, CDRS. 5. 5. Data Trustworthiness Assessment for Traffic Condition Participatory Sensing Scenario

    Master-uppsats, KTH/Skolan för elektroteknik och datavetenskap (EECS)

    Författare :Hairuo Gao; [2022]
    Nyckelord :Participatory sensing; Data trustworthiness assessment; Anomaly detection; Traffic prediction; Deep neural network; Deltagande avkänning; Bedömning av uppgifternas tillförlitlighet; Upptäckt av anomalier; Trafikprognoser; Djupt neuralt nätverk;

    Sammanfattning : Participatory Sensing (PS) is a common mode of data collection where valuable data is gathered from many contributors, each providing data from the user’s or the device’s surroundings via a mobile device, such as a smartphone. This has the advantage of cost-efficiency and wide-scale data collection. LÄS MER
