    Sammanfattning : Denna studie utgår från att den partipolitiska argumentationen för Sverige och Danmarks säkerhetspolitiska positionering inte varit överensstämmande med den statliga säkerhetspolitiska positioneringen genom åren. Syftet med denna undersökning är att genom ett historisk institutionellt perspektiv belysa hur politiska partiers stigberoende har inverkan på i vilken riktning som den statliga säkerhetspolitiska debatten kommer att anta och således den statliga säkerhetspolitiska positioneringen.
