1. Antarctic Subglacial Lakes as Environmental Analogues for Possible Hidden Biospheres on the Moons Europa and Enceladus
Master-uppsats, Uppsala universitet/Institutionen för geovetenskaperSammanfattning : The evolving science of astrobiology for the search for life beyond Earth has put focus on the possibility of subsurface bodies of liquid water beneath the surface of icy moons within our Solar System. Specifically, the Jovian moon of Europa and the Saturnian moon of Enceladus show telling characteristics of endogenous heating through their complex tidal resonances with their parent planets – suggesting the presence of oceans of liquid water and therefore a potential for astrobiology. 2.
Energy audit of a single-family detached house with district heating in Sweden
Magister-uppsats, Högskolan i Gävle/Energisystem och byggnadsteknikSammanfattning : As energy prices keep increasing, energy efficiency measures have come to the spotlight, especially in the residential sector. In this context, energy audits appear as powerful tools in order to assess the energy use and cost of energy of a dwelling, and identify possible energy saving measures that increase the energy efficiency and reduce costs. 4. Solar PV Integrated with Seasonal Thermal Storage and District Heating
Master-uppsats, Lunds universitet/Institutionen för energivetenskaperSammanfattning : In order to contribute to reaching the climate goals of the future, power-to-heat (P2H) technologies are a possible solution. A heat pump (HP) or an electric boiler (EB) can be used to produce warm water by utilising cheap electricity from photovoltaic (PV) parks in the summer when there are many hours of sunlight. LÄS MER
5. Boendes agerande under energikrisen 2022/2023
Kandidat-uppsats, Lunds universitet/Avdelningen för Installations- och klimatiseringsläraSammanfattning : The building and service sector consume 40 percent of Sweden’s total energy use. Which of only single-family houses are responsible for 8 percent. The energy used in single family houses mainly goes to heating and hot water. 2020 the most common energy source for heating these buildings was electricity (Energimyndigheten 2022). LÄS MER
