16. Flight Dynamics Software Industrialisation for Inclined Orbits
Master-uppsats, KTH/Lättkonstruktioner, marina system, flyg- och rymdteknik, rörelsemekanikSammanfattning : The geostationary orbit has many applications for Earth observation and telecommunications. Like all satellites, spacecraft in this type of orbit are affected by perturbations. These perturbations can modify the satellites trajectories and, without control, deviate them from their target position. LÄS MER
17. Calibration of RPWI Langmuir Probe Data
Kandidat-uppsats, Uppsala universitet/Institutet för rymdfysik, UppsalaavdelningenSammanfattning : In this report calibration of the four probes attached onto the JUICE spacecraft has been made. The JUICE spacecraft (JUpiter Icy Moon Explorer) is a spacecraft which will investigate theenvironment on and around Jupiter and its four biggest moons. 18. Cosmic Dust Detection by the Solar Orbiter Using Machine Learning
Kandidat-uppsats, Uppsala universitet/Institutet för rymdfysik, UppsalaavdelningenSammanfattning : This project aims to investigate neural network systems as an effective tool for the in-space captured dust impact signal detection. Cosmic dust is the nanometre to micrometre fine-sized particles that exist in the interplanetary region. They originate from comets, asteroids, the planets and their moons and rings, or even the interstellar region. LÄS MER
19. Orientation of plasma jet fronts in the Earth's magnetotail
Kandidat-uppsats, Uppsala universitet/Institutionen för fysik och astronomi; Uppsala universitet/Institutet för rymdfysik, UppsalaavdelningenSammanfattning : This project aims to investigate the orientation of plasma jet fronts in Earth's magnetotail using multi-spacecraft measurement data. The orientations are estimated by applying minimum variance analysis (MVA) and multi-spacecraft timing analysis for finding normal vectors to the jet fronts as they pass over the spacecraft. LÄS MER
20. Improving the guidance, navigation and control design of the KNATTE platform
Master-uppsats, Luleå tekniska universitet/Institutionen för system- och rymdteknikSammanfattning : For complex satellite missions that rely on agile and high-precision manoeuvres, the low-friction aspect of the space environment is a critical component in understanding the attitude control dynamics of the spacecraft. The Kinesthetic Node and Autonomous Table-Top Emulator (KNATTE) is a three-degree-of-freedom frictionless vehicle that serves as the foundation of a multipurpose platform for real-time spacecraft hardware-in-the-loop experiments, and allows emulation of these conditions in two dimensions with the purpose of validating various guidance, navigation, and control algorithms.
