  1. 1. Quantification of Pharmaceuticals at the sub-cellular level using the NanoSIMS

    Uppsats för yrkesexamina på avancerad nivå, Uppsala universitet/Analytisk kemi

    Författare :Maryam Dost; [2024]
    Nyckelord :Mass spectroscopy imaging; AstraZeneca; Nanosims; Therapeutics; pharmacokinetics; pharmacodynamics; Quantitative Visualization; calibration curve; RSF; pharmacology; Data Analysis; Chemistry; Quantification; isotopes; Pharmaceuticals; subcellular; drug; drug target; nucleotide; biodistribution; Bioanalytical electrochemistry; spectroscopy; mass spectrometry; analytical separations; Analytical Chemistry; ROI; Bioanalytical Chemistry; Masspektroskopi avbildning; AstraZeneca; Nanosims; Terapeutik; farmakokinetik; farmakodynamik; Kvantitativ visualisering; kalibreringskurva; RSF; farmakologi; Dataanalys; Kemi; Kvantifiering; isotoper; Läkemedel; subcellulär; läkemedel; läkemedelsmål; bioskopisk elektrofördelning; nukleotid; bioskopisk bioskopisk distribution; masspektrometri; analytiska separationer; analytisk kemi; bioanalytisk kemi;

    Sammanfattning : Mass spectroscopy imaging (MSI) has become a vital tool in modern research due to its ability to visualize the spatial distribution of molecules within tissue samples. The collaboration between researchers at AZ, the University of Gothenburg, and Chalmers University of Technology using the NanoSIMS instrument and MSI-SIMS technology has opened up new avenues of exploration in pharmaceutical development, particularly in examining drugs and metabolites at sub-cellular levels. 2. 2. Quantum Optical Description of High-order Harmonic Generation

    Master-uppsats, Lunds universitet/Atomfysik; Lunds universitet/Fysiska institutionen

    Författare :Isabel Moreno; [2024]
    Nyckelord :Physics and Astronomy;

    Sammanfattning : High-order Harmonic Generation (HHG) is a highly non-linear process in which an atom interacts with a strong laser field. The laser field lowers the atomic potential barrier allowing bound electrons to escape into the continuum through tunnel ionization, propagate, and, with some probability, recombine with the parent ion. 3. 3. Evaluation of the ERA5-Land dataset for estimation of soil moisture in the permafrost region

    Master-uppsats, Stockholms universitet/Institutionen för naturgeografi

    Författare :Alberta van Gent; [2023]
    Nyckelord :Soil moisture; ERA5-Land; International Soil Moisture Network ISMN ; permafrost region;

    Sammanfattning : The permafrost region covers a vast area of land surface on the northern hemisphere,storing large amounts of carbon. Unfortunately, climate warming leads to permafrostthaw altering the hydrothermal state of permafrost soils. Due to the remoteness of thepermafrost region, access to field measurements is restricted. 4. 4. Biodiversity Monitoring Using Machine Learning for Animal Detection and Tracking

    Master-uppsats, KTH/Skolan för elektroteknik och datavetenskap (EECS)

    Författare :Qian Zhou; [2023]
    Nyckelord :Small Target Detection; Target Tracking; YOLOv5; DeepSORT; Attention Mechanism; Loss Function; Feature Extraction and Fusion Network; Detektering Av små sål; sålspårning; YOLOv5; DeepSORT; uppmärksamhetsmekanism; förlustfunktion; fusionsnätverk;

    Sammanfattning : As an important indicator of biodiversity and ecological environment in a region, the number and distribution of animals has been given more and more attention by agencies such as nature reserves, wetland parks, and animal protection supervision departments. To protect biodiversity, we need to be able to detect and track the movement of animals to understand which animals are visiting the space. LÄS MER

  5. 5. Quality enhancement of time-resolved computed tomography scans with cycleGAN

    Master-uppsats, Lunds universitet/Synkrotronljusfysik; Lunds universitet/Fysiska institutionen

    Författare :Johannes Stubbe; [2023]
    Nyckelord :carbon fibers; carbon fibres; microfibers; tomography; deep learning; cycleGAN; time-resolved tomography; Physics and Astronomy;

    Sammanfattning : Time-resolved x-ray tomography enables us to dynamically and non-destructively study the interior of a specimen. The obtainable temporal resolution is limited by the x-ray flux and the desired spatial resolution. LÄS MER
