  1. 1. Implementation and experimental evaluation of a parameterized PMSynRM model using Matlab and Comsol Multiphysics

    Master-uppsats, KTH/Skolan för elektroteknik och datavetenskap (EECS)

    Författare :Israt Jahan; [2019]
    Nyckelord :Comsol Multiphysics; eddy-current losses; permanent-magnet synchronous reluctance motors; reluctance; Comsol Multiphysics; virvelströmsförluster; permanentmagnet synkrona reluktansmotorer; reluktans;

    Sammanfattning : This thesis focuses on modelling of the permanent magnet synchronous reluctancemotor (PMSynRM), which has drawn considerable attention by researchers thanks toits high efficiency and wide range of speed operation. Comparisons with measurementsfrom a four-pole PMSynRM with four barriers and 24 stator slots have been carriedout. LÄS MER

  2. 2. Preliminary simulation of Porjus U9 turbine at speed no load

    Uppsats för yrkesexamina på avancerad nivå, Luleå tekniska universitet/Institutionen för teknikvetenskap och matematik

    Författare :Henrik Holmström; [2019]
    Nyckelord :Kaplan; Speed no-load; SNL;

    Sammanfattning : Hydropower plants are shifting towards operating at off-designed conditions, meaning that the number of start-stop cycles and maintenance time due to cavitation increases. The speed no-load condition is the moment before magnetization of the generator, i.e., no load, low flow, constant runner rotational speed, guide vane and runner blade angle. LÄS MER

  3. 3. Analysis, design and control aspects of linear machines using co-simulation

    Master-uppsats, KTH/Elektrisk energiomvandling

    Författare :Muhammad Salman; [2012]
    Nyckelord :;

    Sammanfattning : This research work describes the permanent magnet linear machines, their characteristics, control and applications. It aims to develop a linear machine model in finite element based software, Flux2D. The Finte Element Method (FEM) model consists of 8 poles and 9 slots where periodicity of poles is used to simulate inifinite travel length. LÄS MER
