    Sammanfattning : The present thesis is a study of Tenga Rinpoches death process and physical death, based on interviews, textual studies and image analysis. Special attention is given to a particular kind of meditation practiced in close connection to physical death and aimed at reaching a state of mind that in the Tibetan tradition is called tukdam.
