  1. 11. Network reconfiguration for renewable generation maximization

    Uppsats för yrkesexamina på avancerad nivå, Lunds universitet/Industriell elektroteknik och automation

    Författare :Gabriel Malmer; Lovisa Thorin; [2023]
    Nyckelord :distributed generation; hosting capacity; network reconfiguration; optimal power flow; power distribution; optimization; mixed-integer programming; Technology and Engineering;

    Sammanfattning : Increasing the amount of renewable generation in distribution networks is a fundamental part of the energy transition. Multiple methods exist to increase the hosting capacity in a grid, to allow larger injections of generation and more efficiently utilize existing infrastructure before operational limits are breached. 2. 12. In-depth Analysis of the Presence of Aboriginals in National Politics : Political Predicament of Taiwanese Indigenous People

    Master-uppsats, Linnéuniversitetet/Institutionen för statsvetenskap (ST)

    Författare :Xuan Dong; [2023]
    Nyckelord :Indigenous people; Taiwanese; Aboriginals; Aboriginal identity; Recognition; Multiculturalism; Post colonialism; Representative democracy; Deliberative democracy;

    Sammanfattning : Inspired by the barriers to social integration between aboriginals and non-indigenous people in Taiwan, as well as the limitations of representation and participation in national politics, and extending to turn deeply to aboriginal identity recognition and related movements, this dissertation adopts liberalism as grand background and takes scholarly scientific theory constructivism to illustrate the meanings and applicability of discourse analysis method in order to investigate textual materials notably official documents including the Constitution and Acts, press releases as well as academic articles about how those materials describe indigenous peoples. 3. 13. RNN-based Graph Neural Network for Credit Load Application leveraging Rejected Customer Cases

    Uppsats för yrkesexamina på avancerad nivå, Högskolan i Halmstad/Akademin för informationsteknologi

    Författare :Oskar Nilsson; Benjamin Lilje; [2023]
    Nyckelord :Machine Learning; Deep Learning; Reject Inference; GNN; GCN; Graph Neural Networks; RNN; Recursive Neural Network; LSTM; Semi-Supervised Learning; Encoding; Decoding; Feature Elimination;

    Sammanfattning : Machine learning plays a vital role in preventing financial losses within the banking industry, and still, a lot of state of the art and industry-standard approaches within the field neglect rejected customer information and the potential information that they hold to detect similar risk behavior.This thesis explores the possibility of including this information during training and utilizing transactional history through an LSTM to improve the detection of defaults. 4. 14. The One China Problem? - The Diplomatic Recognition of the Republic of China

    Master-uppsats, Lunds universitet/Graduate School

    Författare :Wilma Salmenjaakko; [2023]
    Nyckelord :Social Sciences;

    Sammanfattning : Why have some countries decided to recognize Taiwan despite majority of the countries maintain official ties with China? The thesis aims to investigate the reasons behind (non) recognition of Taiwan. In order to answer to the research question, the research applies a comparative case study looking at the United States and Guatemala and their actions towards Taiwan and what could explain them. 5. 15. Same, Same, but Different: Exploring Autonomy in Collective Memory Formation for Ontological Security in Macau, Hong Kong, and Taiwan : A Comparative Analysis of the Second Sino-Japanese War and Japanese Occupation in School Curricula and History Textbooks

    Master-uppsats, Uppsala universitet/Hugo Valentin-centrum

    Författare :Man In Laura Chan; [2023]
    Nyckelord :Collective memory; Ontological security; Autonomy; Macau; Hong Kong; Taiwan; Second Sino-Japanese war; Japanese occupation; History textbooks;

    Sammanfattning : This thesis contributes to the existing literature by exploring the intersection between collective memory theory and ontological security theory within East Asia’s autonomous entities. It explores how varying degrees of political autonomy shape the construction of collective memory in history textbooks, navigating the dynamics in the pursuit of ontological security. LÄS MER
