22. Assessing the Climate Impact and Expansion Potential of On-Demand Storage in the Housing and Construction Sector : A case study on Vinden AB
Master-uppsats, KTH/Skolan för industriell teknik och management (ITM)Sammanfattning : The housing and construction sector is responsible for 40% of global greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions, making it crucial for achieving the Paris Agreement goals. One of the most effective ways to mitigate emissions in this sector is by optimizing the use of existing building stock and minimizing the construction of new houses. LÄS MER
23. National Ambitions and International Reality : Swedish armed forces financial and organizational conditions and responses to the diffusion of military innovation 2014-2022
Master-uppsats, FörsvarshögskolanSammanfattning : In this thesis an analysis of the impact major military innovations (MMI), their introduction and diffusion has had on Sweden in light of the recent moves to join NATO. 24. Innovation in Industrial Building Sustainability : Exploring timber frames as a viable alternative to steel frames in industrial buildings A case study of Sweco AB
Master-uppsats, Uppsala universitet/Institutionen för samhällsbyggnad och industriell teknikSammanfattning : Lund University (2020) describes that the material chosen for the construction of constructions significantly affects the environment. Due to the impact of the choice of construction materials on the environment, we have carried out an in-depth study where we examine the complex decision-making process when choosing frame materials concerning both external and internal factors where external influences become regulatory requirements related to global sustainability goals with the aim that the industrial construction industry can find sustainable solutions such as hybrid solutions in the choice of frame materials, while internal factors involve financial considerations linked to the protection of materials against environmental conditions and challenges that industrial buildings can face. 25. Exploring Drivers and Barriers of Self-Assessment Systems for Fuel Efficiency in Aviation : A Case Study at a Scandinavian Airline
Master-uppsats, KTH/Skolan för industriell teknik och management (ITM)Sammanfattning : The pollution of the aviation industry is often identified as a main contributor toward climate change, justified by the immense amounts of greenhouse gasses emitted during a flight. Therefore, it is inevitable that the aviation industry acts toward decreasing emissions of flights for mitigation of the climate crisis. LÄS MER
