    Sammanfattning : The aim of the study was to take a closer look at the thoughts of a group of adolescent students concerning drug abuse and whether they think it is something one can find a way out of or not. The main questions are: - How are their thoughts about use and misuse of drugs? - Do they believe that a person with a drug abuse problem can quit? - How do they think it is done and what factors may facilitate or complicate? This essay investigates the importance of self-image in an individual’s choice of a life of drug abuse, the strategies used to hide deviant behaviour, the emotions that underlie that behaviour and the reasons given for acting deviantly.
