This claim has led us to examine if this transformation could be detected and described if we analyzed and compared Trump’s foreign policy doctrine with his predecessor, Barack Obama, through the lens Thomas Hobbes, whose ideas are at the core of the three modern schools of political realism.    Sammanfattning : Denna uppsats ämnar att utifrån två perspektiv analysera hur terrorgruppen Daesh avhumaniseras, vilka anspråk de kan göra på mänskliga rättigheter samt huruvida de kan bestraffas för sina människorättskränkande handlingar. Den första delen av undersökningen har som syfte att kartlägga hur gruppen framställs i brittisk tabloidpress för att undersöka vilken typ av avhumanisering som sker i enlighet med Nick Haslams teori, och den andra delen av undersökningen ämnar att sedan diskutera aspekter av hur en Daesh-krigare kan förlora sitt anspråk på mänskliga rättigheter med hjälp av olika perspektiv i kontrast till John Locke och Thomas Hobbes teorier för naturrätt.
