Sammanfattning : The Economic Partnership Agreement between the European Union (EU) and Southern African Development Community (SADC) is a reciprocal asymmetric trade agreement in which contributes to encouraging more trade between African partners and Europe, by ensuring consistency with regional development policies and integration programmes. Previous research in this field has focused on explaining the establishment of EU’s political and economic relations with Africa or expressing EU’s views on less developed ACP-regions. LÄS MER

Sammanfattning : How can Linux reduce the time required for development in embedded systems, and what makes Linux appealing to embedded developers despite the loss in overall control? Through qualitative interviews with industry professionals and a systematic literature review, challenges and benefits of using Linux in embedded systems development were identified and discussed. Three hypotheses were formulated based on recurring topic agreement among the interview subjects: Reduced development time through the use of open-source solutions, struggles with real-time and security requirements, and challenges within troubleshooting and dependency management.
