    Sammanfattning : What can explain the radical right party voting of citizens that have emigrated abroad? Results from the 2014 SOM survey of Swedish expatriates show that 7% of the expatriate population voted for the radical right party of Sweden – the Sweden Democrats. The research area of radical right party support is substantial, and there have been numerous studies presenting explanations to why individuals vote for radical right parties. LÄS MER

    Sammanfattning : The recent wave of Syrian refugees’ spontaneous return to conflict areas in Syria is not a new phenomenon, various cases of return to areas that do not meet safety and security standards has happened in cases like Somali refugees returning from Kenya or Angolan refugees returning from Zambia and the Democratic Republic of Congo.     Sammanfattning : The aim of this study is investigate how the queer refugees experience networking in the country of transit and how these networks contribute to their well-being during their asylum experience in Turkey. Focusing on the experiences of queer refugees residing temporarily in a small provincial area of Turkey, I specifically explore which types of social relationships and connections they form and sustain with their countries of origin, within the country of transit and with the third countries and which types of benefits are offered to the queer refugees by various types of networks.
