    Sammanfattning : In this thesis, the inverse distance weighting, different kriging methods, ordinary least squares and two variants of the geographically weighted regression was used to evaluate the spatial mapping abilities on an observed dataset and a simulated dataset. C3 and C4 weed species, such as Chenopodium album, Conyza canadensis, Amaranthus retroflexus, Papaver rhoeas, Sorghum halepense, Echinochloa crus-galli and Lolium rigidum, are studied in two differing bioclimatic countries, Greece and Germany.
