3. Reconstruction of challenging signatures characteristic to new physics beyond the Standard Model

The signal, which is based on the Composite Higgs Model, considers the pair production of vector-like top quarks, denoted t', with the successive decays t' to S and a Standard Model top quark and S to two photons, where S is a new pseudo-scalar boson. 4. Exotic Decays of a Vector-liketop Partner at the LHC

This was done by simulating a signal containing these new particles and making a recast of it onto existing verified ATLAS searches for new physics at center-of-mass (CM) energy of 13 TeV (Run 2) at the Large Hadron Collider (LHC). 5. Studies of Hypothetical Vector-Like Quarks at the Large Hadron Collider
Master-uppsats, Uppsala universitet/HögenergifysikSammanfattning : A study for the search for vector-like quarks and a new pseudo Nambu-Goldstone boson(pNGB) scalar at the LHC running at $\sqrt{s} = 13$ TeV is presented. A model based on the composite Higgs model in which the Higgs boson emerges as a composite pNGB together with a new pNGB $\eta$ is considered. LÄS MER
