    Sammanfattning : This study aims to examine the effects of oil price shocks on the overall trade- and the non-oil trade balances for ten oil-importing Euro area countries. Theory suggests that the effects from an oil price shock on the oil component of the trade balance for oil importers is negative, but that the effect on the non-oil component is positive. LÄS MER

    Sammanfattning : Ifrågasättandet av det rådande valutaförhållandet är stort, både på grund av brister som påpekas i systemet centrerat kring dollarn och på grund av den kinesiska ekonomins framfart. Genom en översikt av de teorier som beskriver användandet av internationella valutor, förutsättningar för en ökad spridning av en valuta samt en historisk översikt av tre tidigare internationellt framträdande valutor, den spanska dollarn, den brittiska sterlingen och den amerikanska dollarn undersöks mekanismerna i både skiften och dominansen.
