  1. 1. Diskussioner om våld i sociala medier - En metod för att mäta förekomsten av diskussioner om våld på olika digitala plattformar

    Kandidat-uppsats, Stockholms universitet/Institutionen för data- och systemvetenskap

    Författare :Evelina Bisell; Kim Rosenqvist; [2023]
    Nyckelord :Text analysis; automatic detection; violence; social media; design science; method; Textanalys; automatisk detektering; våld; sociala medier; design science; metod;

    Sammanfattning : Möjligheten för individer att uttrycka sig på internet har underlättat för det fria ordet, som är en demokratisk grundsten i vårt samhälle. Baksidan av detta mynt är att alltmer våldsam radikalisering sker runt om på digitala plattformar. LÄS MER

  2. 2. NOVA: Automated Detection of Violent Threats in Swedish Online Environments

    Master-uppsats, Stockholms universitet/Institutionen för data- och systemvetenskap

    Författare :Kevin Lindén; Arvin Moshfegh; [2023]
    Nyckelord :Violent Threats; BERT; Artificial Intelligence; Machine Learning; Automated Text Classification;

    Sammanfattning : Social media and online environments have become an integral part of society, allowing for self-expression, information sharing, and discussions online. However, these platforms are also used to express hate and threats of violence. LÄS MER

  3. 3. Head impact detection with sensor fusion and machine learning

    Uppsats för yrkesexamina på avancerad nivå, Luleå tekniska universitet/Institutionen för system- och rymdteknik

    Författare :Aron Strandberg; [2022]
    Nyckelord :head impact detection; sensor fusion; 3D; machine learning; support vector machine; random forests;

    Sammanfattning : Head injury is common in many different sports and elsewhere, and is often associated with differentdifficulties. One major problem is to identify and value the injury or the severity. Sometimes there is no sign of head injury, but a serious neck distortion has occurred, causing similar symptoms as head injuries e.g. LÄS MER

  4. 4. Primordial Gravitational Waves and ultra-light Dark Matter in a complex singlet extended Standard Model

    Kandidat-uppsats, Lunds universitet/Partikel- och kärnfysik; Lunds universitet/Teoretisk partikelfysik - Geonomgår omorganisation

    Författare :Sara Wildenor; [2021]
    Nyckelord :theoretical physics; gravitational waves; dark matter; complex singlet extended standard model; LISA; BBO; DECIGO; Physics and Astronomy;

    Sammanfattning : In this thesis, the consequences of extending the internal symmetries of the standard model with a complex singlet scalar field, are investigated in terms of dark matter phenomenology and the possibility of primordial gravitational wave detection utilizing space based laser interferometry. The scalar potential of the model is constructed with a Z2 symmetry, which allows for the retainment of a linear and a quadratic coupling parameter, as well as a stable dark matter candidate, and an additional non-zero vacuum expectation value for the real component of the scalar field. 5. 5. Measurement of the snow accumulation in Antarctica with a neutrino radio detector and extension to the measurement of the index-of-refraction profile

    L3-uppsats, Uppsala universitet/Högenergifysik

    Författare :Jakob Beise; [2021]
    Nyckelord :Askaryan; UHE neutrinos; in-ice radio detection; in-situ detector calibration; deep learning; radio neutrino detector; ARIANNA;

    Sammanfattning : High-energy neutrino physics offers a unique way to investigate the most violent phenomena in our universe. The detection of energies above E > 1017 eV is most efficient using the Askaryan effect, where a neutrino-induced particle shower produces coherent radio emission that is detectable with radio antennas.
