    Sammanfattning : This study was conducted on behalf of the county administrative board of Gotland, with the aim of using Geographical Information systems to identify protected forest areas where controlled fires would be suitable to incorporate in management plans. Drawing upon the theory about the landscape as a product of social relations which can be attributed to different values and purposes.
